A note from Gloria, Stacey and Staff: Twelve years ago we opened a small scrapbook store, and the question we were asked most; "what is scrapbooking?" Boy have times changed, the hobby grew by leaps and bounds and amazingly our store grew right along with it. We've seen so many changes in the style of scrapbooking, (remember cutting your pictures into various shapes?) And then amazingly, scrapbooking and rubber stamping steadily started to mesh together - we wondered if it ever really would happen, but sure enough it did. We became a full service scrapbook and rubber stamp store. The one thing that has been steadfast, is the wonderful opportunity we have had in making new friends and building lifelong relationships with some of you. We appreciate your support and for allowing us to " help you create memories one page at a time"... and to "Make an Artful Impression." Indeed it is YOU that we will miss the most.

Classes, classes, classes...

Someone has inquired about Sue's classes. As the ink is still wet on her "class idea" sheets, I can't quite divulge specifics yet except to say, "have you ever heard of a 'grunge paper' quilt" or" how do you feel about sharing your artwork with other artists, actually creating for them as they create for you?" And she's also bringing back some favorites with alcohol inks, sheer heaven and acrylic transfers. We're looking at some Tuesday night classes too, so clear your Tuesdays and get ready to have fun! We've also noticed an influx of out of towners swooping in to grab up the new goodies that are filling our shelves. Don't forget to stop in and see what's new before it's out and thanks to all of you for your support!

In the Process

We're punching out the JULY/AUGUST newsletter as I write! Sue has some innovative, progressive night classes formulating, Marilyn is ready to introduce you all to the great big new world of "GRIDDIES", Diane just brought in two beautiful bird cards deftly colored with GLIMMER MIST and there's more to come! Have you ever wondered what the world would be like in just black and white...not morally speaking but if the entire world were either the absence of color (white) or the addition of all colors at once (black)? Colorful thoughts to you, full of variations, textures and shades!
